Job Description

Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

This position manages projects with to-down oversight from inception to completion.  They must ensure that all projects adhere to the required standards of budget, timeline, and scope.  They must also develop project plans that meet client needs with company goals, and coordinate team managers and technical personnel throughout all stages of the project. Will report to and support the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security

Job Responsibilities

  •  Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Responsible for collaboration and communication with various teams as needed
  • Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production
  • Contribute to product design and establishment of requirements
  • Deliver products consistently, on time and on budget
  • Oversee user testing and report results—adjust requirements as needed
  • Work closely with Infrastructure and Network and Operations manager during all phases of development lifecycle
  • Manage all project and design documentation.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with all necessary stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team members within IT and throughout all departments and levels of the company
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong computer and problem solving skills
  • Systems Engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Vmware, Citrix, Data Center, Disaster Recovery, Networking, Telephony
  • Experience with end to end implementations of enterprise systems and solutions
