Job Description

The primary function of a Outlet Sales Associate is to represent Bob’s Discount Furniture and its products with honesty and integrity while guiding the customer through the sales process, as well as, ensuring integrity while pricing and tagging Outlet merchandise and utilizing the Outlet pricing guidelines as set forth by the company

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Be consistently positive, enthusiastic and respectful in all interactions with customers and co-workers. Accurately and honestly represent all Company policies, products and services, to reach quantitative goal.

Sell and Represent the customer and co-workers according to “Bob’s Way”.

Involve Store Management in the sales process to help overcome customer objections and assist with closing the sale.

Attend and constructively participate in all scheduled meetings, workshops and other training sessions.

Contribute to the on-going effort to maintain the store’s appearance at the highest level, by straightening, light cleaning as assigned, and identifying damaged or unsightly merchandise and removing from Floor.

Pricing and tagging Outlet merchandise according to Outlet pricing guidelines as set forth by the Company

Light assembly of merchandise as needed

Arrive at work on scheduled days, on time and work scheduled shift

This includes working all weekends and major holidays, unless specified otherwise by management.

Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Solid product knowledge of all lines of furniture and accessories

Full understanding and competence on SAP

Excellent presentation skills

Proven analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to use sound judgment and decision making

Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing

Reporting Relationships

Report to:  Outlet Manager, Store Manager and/or Operations Manager
