Job Description

The ecommerce project manager is responsible for assisting the team in new feature implementation and support of solutions for our SAP Hybris (B2C) consumer online channel. They will work with other team members and business owners to define, establish, and execute projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business from concept to completion, through design, transition, testing and operation, to ensure it meets the requirements and delivers business value.
  • Partner with IT leaders, department management, to deploy technology to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Create and execute comprehensive project plans to include scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk management, and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with global project stake holders from IT, business, and system integrators. Act as the main point of project contact
  • Communicate and document project status directly to stakeholder’s at all organizational levels.
  • Hold project team accountable for deadlines and commitments.
  • Coach and mentor individuals on project management methodologies and competencies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects related to system integration, system enhancements or upgrades simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams or business partners or Project Managers to achieve agreed milestones for projects.
  • Facilitate cross functional business blueprint sessions in capturing and assessing business requirements, defining business process flows and assisting in determining technical requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing both IT Enterprise Application and Ecommerce projects involving, system integration, system enhancements, upgrades and new implementations
  • Strong experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent skills in developing and managing detailed project plans.
  • Very comfortable and experienced in managing project scope, delivery schedule and quality requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Strong hands on experience with structured project management methodologies including Waterfall or Agile
  • Solid experience with the SDLC, Change Management and Release Management Processes.
  • Experience managing projects having complex ecosystem with Ecommerce platform integrating with multiple 3rd party applications
  • Experience with developing and managing cutover and business readiness plans
  • Extensive experience working in a global environment
  • Experience managing projects in Retail or Furniture Industry is a plus
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management is  highly desirable
  • Experience managing Hyrbis projects is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified or similar certification is highly preferred
  • A self-starter with superb leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated customer sensitivity with excellent organizational and communication skills from end users to line managers to C-level executives

  • Strong business acumen with a good understanding of business systems especially SAP
