Product Support Manager

Product Support Managers are TEAM members within the Bob’s Discount Furniture organization and play a vital role by assuring Stores receive inventory and stage merchandise in a manner consistent with the Company’s vision; assisting and enabling Stores to achieve established Sales expectations and minimizing shrink while achieving Customer Experience guidelines as defined by the Company.  The primary function of a Product Support Manager is to establish a cohesive TEAM that works efficiently and effectively to support Sales and the Company’s vision by working seamlessly with Store Operations, Store Management and Visual Merchandising to maintain; warehouse safety, showroom and Outlet standards, merchandising standards, receiving and inventory guidelines and to perform day to day back-end operations according to established Company guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Train and Develop Team members through example and continual accountability. Lead a Team to receive and ship Bob’s merchandise while observing all guidelines set forth by the Company to reduce trash
  • Lead a Team to assure staged areas such as Showroom and/or Outlet are prepared to receive merchandise in accordance with Visual Merchandising guidelines
  • Work through Team to assemble Bob’s Merchandise with care, working conscientiously to limit trash
  • Coordinate and prepare unsold Merchandise for shipping
  • Train and Develop the Product Support Specialist (s) in repairing product according to Bob’s Outlet standards,(available in specific outlet locations only)
  • Manage Customer product pickups according to Company guidelines
  • Actively assist in conducting Inventory as required
  • Exhibit The Bob’s Way with all Customer interactions
  • Observe, implement and maintain safety requirements of Bob’s Discount Furniture
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Career minded with capacity to grow professionally
  • Proven track record of back-end retail experience
  • Experience managing, developing and motivating a Team
  • Proven ability to manage and improve process
  • Experience with supply chain, product management and inventory
  • Outstanding Customer Service experience
