Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

We are seeking a talented Marketing Analyst to join the Bob’s FP&A Team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage both quantitative analysis and creative problem solving skills to meet and exceed performance goals for network businesses of all sizes in many different verticals. Marketing Analysts understand that Bob’s needs to deliver strong, quantifiable marketing performance and balances that with exceptional communication skills while messaging performance trends and optimizations to people of all experience levels. Marketing Analyst is responsible for coordinating, analyzing digital marketing data pulled from numerous data sources and analytic tools.  The Marketing Analyst will communicate data informed insights in easy to understand formats to a broad base of individuals and functional groups. 

This position supports marketing strategies and ecommerce program development to achieve KPI goals for our Brick and Mortar, direct to consumer, marketplace and omnichannel initiatives.  This individual is expected to be highly analytical and is proficient in communicating results to a broad audience. The Analyst will be responsible for reviewing standard metrics and generating insights about the business, the effectiveness of various marketing components and make recommendations for improvements that would increase performance. In addition, the analyst will perform all required ad-hoc research into the effectiveness of various high-end strategies and provide insights into their contribution and recommendations on how to improve
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee marketing campaign strategies for clients with an eye towards revenue growth and lead generation by working with account teams, clients and partners to understand objectives, budgets, and schedules while being mindful of consistency and fluidity between channel level strategies
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and partners to create and present client account growth strategies, plans to increase adoption, and overall product performance reviews
  • Executive level monitoring of campaign results; oversight of data analysis/reports to draw conclusions and provide insights to leadership
  • Prioritize and manage large, complex projects including on-boarding and network optimization
  • Own network wide KPIs including price per lead, spend accuracy and organic rankings
  • Provide a deep level of analytical review of campaign performance (paid search, SEO, social media) to C-level customers
  • Keep abreast of latest products, services, information and trends in the field of Advertising, Marketing, and Ecommerce
  • Analyze all marketing campaigns for effectiveness and develop data informed actions that lead to improvements in campaign sales and other s KPI's.
  • Develop high level marketing and ecommerce site performance dashboards informed by granular analytics.
  • Develop sales and KPI forecast for a broad range of marketing campaigns and ecommerce initiatives
  • Develop and oversee digital A/B marketing test models. Measure, optimize and report outcomes of marketing tests
  • Use data mining techniques and analyze sale and program engagement trends to improve sales and other KPI's
  • Translate raw data and marketing results into easily to understand findings including preparation of executive summaries and ecommerce business reviews
  • Support scalable marketing budget and spend through developing of sales marketing attribution models
  • Create Ad-hoc reporting and support of new report development as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Market Analysis or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing business strategies resulting from quantitative marketing analytics/data mining and presenting those results to the client/business partner.
  • Ability to establish credibility with senior leaders and functional experts
  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills
  • Sound, working knowledge of financial statements
  • Demonstrate high level of intellectual curiosity that translates into new approaches to business issues
  • Ability to prepare a strategic analysis of campaign performance and make recommendations
  • Exceptional and advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in working with different systems to retrieve and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial documents and financial modeling.
  • Ability to work with massive amounts of data and summarize and convey findings.
  • Ability to use historical trends to develop dynamic forecasting models.
  • Thrive in a high performance, fast‐paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Balance multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines with limited supervision. Proven thought leadership skills, including the ability to be innovative and be able to drive results both as an individual and team environment.
  • Ability to leverage data in disparate systems and determine/confirm the accuracy of such data.
  • Experience preparing reports/presentations for Senior Management and Boards of Directors.
  • Experience partnering with leaders across the Enterprise to analyze their results of operations and guide them to make adjustments as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past experience at a Retail or ecommerce business.
