Job Description

This role is responsible for labeling and scanning the purchase orders after the Unloaders have put them on the loading dock.  The Receiving Tagger also labels the cross dock pieces for Stockers, checks the accuracy of the labels verse the product to ensure the inventory is correct to the PO, and inspects the pieces for damages or potential packaging issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Tag and scan new merchandise
• Inspect product for damages to ensure quality of merchandise
• Label the cross dock pieces
• Assist other departments as needed
• Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Ability to recognize a problem with a purchase order and report it to the Supervisor
• Financial Responsibilities
  • This position does not have any direct financial responsibilities
• Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
• Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department; including weekends
